It’s rather unfortunate you have to give a star rating to be able to comment, 1 Star is way too generous for this place. I have tried to call and make an appointment for over a week, only for the phone to ring out with no answer at all, or for the rude and unprofessional staff to answer with “Mount Isa Medical Centre, hold” and place you on hold for over 10 minutes before attending to you. Not everyone has the privilege to walk in to the clinic to make an appointment, so phoning is my only option. When I finally got an answer after trying several times a day for a week, I made an appointment only to get turned away on arrival as the lady who made my appointment didn’t create it correctly. I ended up going to Sonic Health Plus and highly recommend their clinic.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! ........... Very rude and arrogant staff, but even worse is Doctor Michael. Unprofessional condescending and dishonest. Ignored my past medical history and had me jump through hoops to get my regular pain relief which ive been on for years. Completly ignored my insurance company regulations and yelled at me, then lied about it in his bogus notes. He needs to learn how to treat patients which are his customers and not just see them as another $100. The fact he owns the practice is both shameful and scary for mount isa and queensland too. Wish i could give minus rating. Do yourself a favour and try the local vet instead.
