This is my mums and I, regular doctor as we live not even 1km away, I’ve always enjoyed the friendly staff and doctors and helpfulness when dealing with a sickness or injury. Today my mum had an appointment with one of the doctors for what she was told was a UTI (this has been going on for a few weeks now) today she had another check up as she had just done a urine test last week, mum went in expecting to hear the results and hopefully a solution. Instead she was told they have no record of her urine sample from last week, and the the lady doctor proceeded to make her feel like she was making up her issues. She was made to do ANOTHER urine sample and the doctor was very hesitant to give a prescriptions for the antibiotics she’s been on for a while now. This is already a very uncomfortable thing to be going through and to be made to feel like she’s lying about a serious issue is disgusting. The doctors here need to reavaulte how they treat their regular patients, this behaviour should not be accepted in such a professional place.
