Popped into the Carousel (Cannington,WA) store today with my basketball-mad 9 year old son and had an amazing customer service experience.
As he'd blown $25 of his own saved $50 on 11 mins of iplay (????????) he bravely asked the staff if there was anything in store to buy for $25 or under. The three salespeople all chipped in suggestions and scanned items to check prices, spending a heap of time chatting to him and helping him to choose. Although he was torn between two items and was giving me the "pleading face", I wanted him to know/learn that you can't always get what you want when you want it and that maybe next time he should think about it before he blows his $$ on something that lasts only 11 minutes ????
Next thing we knew, the lovely lady salesperson said that as my son was their most favourite customer of the day, they wanted him to have the 2nd item as a gift! ❤️ We were both speechless and actually a little bit teary ????
My son has not stopped talking about it and is very excitedly using both items already -- and will probably go to bed with them!!
The 3 lovely staff deserve to be recognized for their kindness, interest, enthusiasm and amazing customer service. My son says that all he wants now for his birthday in September is vouchers from Stateside Sports! ????❤️
