Disgusting service.. used very abusive language. Bought cardi for my mother in law on 19may which my husband took interstate but it was too big. Went back to get an exchange but sales lady was making excuses one after one. At the end she refused to exchange.
Now I am filing case under consumer law.
All the shoppers out there.. please do not buy from this shop.
I purchased two dresses from the store located in Kilkenny at the old Arndale Centre. After the dressers were washed for the first time in cold water; following ACCC guidelines they shrunk 2 sizes. I was outraged because 2 dresses - $50 per item was a lot of money for me.
The dressers were clearly faulty so I approached the store and was told, ‘No matter where you buy clothes they all shrink so no refund, no exchange. I was told to go away Because she was no longer interested in speaking to me and for me to come back to days later than his supervisor was working.
Today I went back to the store and was met by a different woman. OMG! Such rudeness, I was shocked. She denied me a refund which is my right As a consumer; instead the staff member talked over the top of me, urged me to seek legal advice, ranted that she didn’t care and refused to give me any details of the shops contact address or phone number to chase up my enquiry for a refund.
To finish it off I will say this - DO NOT SHOP at Marise Fashions! All you will get are faulty products and mouthfuls of abuse. Now I will seek legal advice.
