About Byron Community Centre

The Byron Community Centre offers essential support services, inclusive activities and inspiring events for the Byron Shire community. For over 40 years, the Byron Community Centre has played a key role in establishing and hosting a range of projects, services and events for locals and visitors in Byron Bay. The Byron Community Centre is an independent grassroots not-for-profit organisation, entirely self-funded through donations, income and project grants. These funds are used to support locals in need with services such as meals, advocacy and counselling, as well as a range of arts and social programs for the benefit of all. Our two social enterprises, Byron Theatre and Byron Markets, are creative hubs for our region.
