Intermodal Solutions Group (ISG) is our mining and grain division. ISG is now a global company with agents in South Africa, Tanzania, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile,Argentina , Kenya , USA, Canada, and a strong team in Australia and New Zealand.

ISG has a blue chip customer base in both grain and mining and our engineering team has designed containers for cartage of wheat, copper concentrate, Coal, mineral sands, nickel & iron ore.

Our rotainer container designs are all FEA tested and have gone through a rigorous testing programme. ISG designed the first ever bulk rotainer container certified BK2 compliant and these containers currently move copper concentrate in Australia.

Our rotainer designs are tippler friendly and we work in closely with RAM spreaders on a global basis. RAM spreaders supply the tippler, trade named the Revolver because of the fast turning action.

Intermodal Solutions Group (ISG) has developed a range of side tipping containers, that can be used with side tipping trailers for discharge of the cargo. Flexitop Containers

ISG pioneered the innovative FLEXITOP® Retractable Tarp Open Top Container. The container includes a sliding tarpaulin that can be operated from the ground. The tarpaulin can open and close within 10 seconds, compared to the normal 30 minutes of standard open tops. The Flexitop® is used extensively in Australia and New Zealand with coal and grain cargos. ISG will customise the container to suit your application, cargo and desired payload. Half Height Container

Intermodal Solutions Group (ISG) supplies a range of multipurpose half height containers and Rotainers. Half height Containers are perfect for shipping of dense cargo such as Mineral Sands, Salt, Iron Ore, and many other cargo types. The half-height container is 1450mm high to allow the units to be shipped in a normal 2900mm high container slot (9’6 high). This can save logistic companies a fortune when returning empty containers. The half heights are a real multipurpose container. With Rear doors, tipping hatch and hard lid.
