About Burleigh Cricket Club
Founded in 2006, the Burleigh Cricket Club is one of the newest clubs to the Cricket Gold Coast competition.
After starting some limited success in lower grades at the conclusion of the 2011/12 season Burleigh were crowned 2nd Grade Premiers and was invited to participate in the Cricket Gold Coast’s 1st Grade competition the following season, which sees the best eleven clubs from across the Gold Coast region compete for the Kookaburra Cup.
With one of the largest junior cricket programs across the Gold Coast and competitive senior cricketing environment the club will be looking for continual improvement both on and off the field into the 2020/21 season.
