The staff were lovely and the presentation was amazing, but to be honest, the cupcakes and the cheesecake tasted really average. I bought two banoffee (because banoffee has always been my favourite), a jam on vovo and a lemon meringue cheesecake. The cheesecake was pretty average, and considering my favourite part about a cheesecake is the base and that was just loose crumbs, which was pretty silly. The banoffee tasted like icing, just pure, plain icing, I couldn't taste any of the banana or the caramel, and there was just way too much icing, it was really sickening. I didnt actually eat the jam on vovo, my kid ate that one, and she did stuff it down, so no complaint regarding that one. After all the hype I'd heard about CupKates it was just really disappointing.
