There's an earlier review that succinctly describes everything that I would have said, and there's not much more I can add.
Nedlands council is one of the unfriendly council I have ever seen. I have been living in Nedlands for a while owning properties.
There are loads of problems with this council.
1) If we have a issue(where you really need help). First thing they will threaten you saying about their policy and asking us to do range of things that is indeed difficult for normal person to do with their day to day life. Then they will talk about going to courts. For a eldery person these things are very difficult to do. They will some how discourage you from lodging a complaint about an issue with the council.
2) Their rangers are the most lazy people in the council. They never take any action immediately or try to avoid taking action by discouraging you to formally complain.
3) The back lanes(ROW) in the suburb are not at all maintained properly. Council used to maintain the trees but now they have shifted responsibility to the property owners. But they have increased the rates.
One of the most inefficient and bad customer service council in the western suburbs area.
