About Under Road Boring Australia
Established in 1982 in Grafton NSW , Under Road Boring PTY LTD started boring using custom-built boring machines, which were designed and built in-house. In the early 80’s, URB completed numerous road, creek, driveway crossings utilising these machines for a number of different customers.
In the late 80’s URB won a contract within the Grafton region to install a number of stormwater crossings using RCJP. At this time, URB designed and manufactured its very first Mircotunnelling Machine and completed the contract on time and budget. At the completion of this contract and testing of the method, a number of other machines were custom designed and built for numerous contracts Australia wide.
