Terrible instructor. EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE and short temper. Puts alot of pressure on the child. If your child has anxiety or something of the sort do not use this service. Mark has very little patience and criticises in a very aggressive manor. Refuses to explain things in depth and constantly tells the student to "read the book".
After failing my second test i was marked down for fixating on the left wing mirror while reverse parking. When going through the test he told me i should know this. but i had never been told by him to look anywhere else other than that mirror. He has a tendency to raise his voice when i made a mistake. When in a place i hadnt been before he would tell me that "we've been here a hundred times and you still dont know to be in 2nd around this bend" but in actuality it was the first time there.
Mark just seems to show a lack of empathy. a short temper and an extremely lazy teaching style. alot of the time he would be texting or writing in his diary etc.
But by far the worst thing is, is he refuses to take responsibility for his failings as a teacher and mentor. He is so confident in his abilities he refuses to believe he hasnt taught properly.
When switching schools i was taught completely differently. My instructor referred to the teachings as "lazy". Mark is definitely not a good teacher and i would not recommend him for anyone. please reconsider
edit - funny that to all the negative reviews mark reinforces the complaints by being extremely aggressive and negative. an absolute fool who i wouldnt recommend to anyone.
edit - the reasons the two most upvoted and relevant reviews relating to this business are the one star negative reviews is because, as mark has displayed in his response to my review and shane's, which he responded to by publicly doxxing his full name (another great display of his aggressive, antagonistic and narcissistic nature) he is willing to attack and intimidate people who speak out against him. Naturally people are scared so instead of leaving their own review they upvote our reviews.
