As I was building a new house, I was forced to contract PBN Electrical to do some additional electrical work (rather than pay the exorbitant prices charged by the builder). Their initial quote for the additional work was outrageous ($7.5 k for the extra work - some downlights, ethernet cabling, TV points and powerpoints). In the end i contracted them to do the first fix wiring of this only. Most of the work was good. However, I had a major issue with three missing Ethernet cables which I had paid for (and two of which cannot be retro-fitted as it is on the ground floor), an outdoor powerpoint that has no power, plus a few powerpoints and a bayonet light falling off the wall. Thats fine - as long as they fix it. but of course.... Have been trying for 9 months to get PBN Electrical to come back to fix this stuff. Every now and then they reply to say they will send someone - but of course they never do. Im over it! I have now just requested they refund me the money I have paid them for this work - although it will end up costing me a lot work to have their errors fixed now that the house is finished.
