WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! went in with an infected and impacted wisdom tooth on a Saturday, Dr dang gave me a sales pitch and made me think that taking the tooth out had to be done that day and it was an emergency, so i had the tooth extracted that day. He stitched up the wound, which essentially sealed the infected in my mouth, gave me a script of antibiotics for the infection and sent me on my way. I was in utter agony until the next day when i ended up back in his clinic because the pain was so severe, where he essentially blamed it on me and asked why i didn't come in sooner, and sent me to the the royal Adelaide emergency department. My face had doubled in size and the doctors and nurses in the royal Adelaide were shocked at how this could have happened in 24 hours. 12 hours, 1 xray, 1 ct scan, and 1 extremely painful abscess drain later, i could finally go home and i am still in pain and on heavy antibiotics over two weeks later, All because of doctor dangs wrong doings. i believe all he wants is money, and does not care about the welfare of his patients what so ever. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND
Called him up at 9 pm. I understand that emergency services are usually a bit more expensive but i wish he had told us that the price he is charging is more than the double of what he would normally charge. If we knew that we would have certainly considered waiting for the normal clinic hours. Also he extracted the tooth which Im not sure was genuinly the only option or was because he didnt have the equipment to the filling in that clinic.
On the good side he successfully extracted the tooth and it came out in one piece so to be fair he did a good job on the tooth but i left the room with a very bad feeling. I wish he had clarified things a bit more on the phone and care less about the bussiness and more about the patient. I personally wouldn't want to see him again.
