About MELC (Mildura English Language Centre)
MELC is a Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) government school. We cater for students arriving in Mildura from countries all over the world for whom English is an additional language. Students at MELC are aged between 5 and 18 years of age.
The curriculum at MELC is taken directly from the EAL Curriculum produced by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA). Our focus is English as an Additional Language (EAL).
