The staff at the Institute are amazing, courteous and highly professional. Dr DeSousa did a fantastic job on my eyes. Better than I ever expected, the results are super noticeable and I have my peripheral vision back! His administration staff are the friendliest and super professional team. I have already started to recommend him and the Lions eye Institute to my friends and family.
So I recently accompanied a family member for a post opt check up, be prepared to wait anywhere between 1-3 hour to be seen. Note to self, if your appointment is at 9:30am on a Friday you can come arrive at 10:30am & still be on time. If anything you may need to wait another hour before being seen.
I was later told that this particular Dr normally does his eye ops on Thursday & then Fridays are horrendous for check ups. Maybe worth avoiding booking a check up on Fridays.
