It is difficult to capture in words how truly grateful we are to have found Whispering Woods, let alone be the first couple to celebrate our wedding there. We believe it is one of the most unique and incredible wedding venues in WA, but not just because of the sheer beauty of the peaceful surroundings but because of the incredible owners Mikey and Allexa.
You would never have guessed that ours was the first wedding they held on their gorgeous property. Every single one of our guests raved about how amazing this couple are – they made our day flow effortlessly. Mikey spent weeks preparing the venue to be perfect in every single way (as well as running the farm full time!). Allexa put so much thought into every detail she assisted with for our wedding - including creating the most delicious and stunning grazing table you’ve ever seen and lovingly making my bouquet with flowers from her garden and the forest. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Mikey and Allexa communicated quickly and professionally with us at all times and were helpful and flexible, supporting us to decide upon the location of our ceremony the day before the wedding and liasing with our other wedding vendors to make sure the day went off without a hitch. The venue was clean and extremely well maintained. Our guests were blown away with the magic of Whispering Woods and everyone agrees they will return to stay in the ‘Green Cabin’ (which can be found on Airbnb).
The barn, forest and cabin provided the perfect backdrop to promise our forevers and I can see us coming back to celebrate our anniversary with Mikey and Allexa at Whispering Woods for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – our wedding would not have been the same without you guys.
