I have been a livestock breeder, gassier and trader (cattle and sheep) for nearly 20 years.
Since I can remember, I have always wanted to work in farming. I grew up in Kyneton and have lived in rural/regional areas all of my life, including Wagga Wagga, Hamilton, Bairnsdale and the Macedon Ranges.
I come from farming stock, as my grandfather was a farmer and his sons (my uncles) continue to farm today. So you could say that farming is in my blood.
I’ve worked as a stock agent for Elders for five years, managed the Kyneton Saleyards for ten years, and bred, sold and traded cattle and sheep since I was 18 years old. As a small acreage landowner in Carlsruhe, I also have an interest in smallholdings and agri-tourism.
