Staff were very attentive and receptive, very knowledgeable of the brand, it helps a lot when it comes to deciding which one to purchase in case you’re not sure.
So I was willing to spend almost $1500 for the Montblanc 149 calligraphy curved nib in store. Then I learnt there was no stock available.
Though the conversation and calls I had with the staff members, it is good that the stock should arrive in 3 weeks. Then I learnt I am not allowed to try it before purchasing. So it is like either buy it or too bad.
I don't blame the staff members as I am sure that is the instruction they have received. But seriously Montblanc, do you really think your band is so grand that people would just come in, spend $1500 in this economic environment without even get to try the product? Even if I purchase a pair of shoes, I will try it right? Is that not a common sense? Or I am asking too much?
