Building established 1850s by Alexander James Webster, an immigrant came from Edinburg, Scotland , in 1840. Junior Webster disposed the Chemist shop in 1892. Three generations of Beaumont family owned and operated the businesses as chemist and optometrist from 1920s until year 2000. It is a pizza and takeaway shop in the heart of Launceston since then.
