Dr. Evans-Bonner completely ignored crimes being committed against the AAT and child support which is a crime in itself she is not fit to be on the AAT. Ample evidence was given that child support and the AAT had been lied to Australia's justice system is the worst in the western world.
What a disgrace this Government Department is. The actions of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for my case was completely unacceptable, bias and unprofessional.
Their "Service Charter" is completely false and needs a rewrite as they can't deliver on their commitment. It states:
'We aim to provide a mechanism of review that:
is fair, just, economical, informal and quick; and
promotes public trust and confidence in our decision-making.'
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal accepted late evidence (1 week past the cut-off date) from the other party, which I received 2 days after the hearing date. I never got a chance to review or comment on the evidence, which was false.
The AAT also states in the Service Charter that 'It is important to understand that you cannot complain to us about an AAT decision.' What sort of policy is that!! What message is that sending? In other words 'The Administrative Appeals Tribunal can do what they want and you can do nothing about it.'
This case was reported to the Ombudsman and they agree that the actions of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal is unacceptable and will monitor future complaints.
I urge anyone who is aggrieved by the conduct of staff at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and their bias processes to report them to the Ombudsman. We deserve a fair hearing not misconduct from an organisation that was suppose to be fair.
