Positives:
Fantastic FREE lights, shows and transport. A wide variety of displays. A wide variety of food vendors.
Negatives: Food vendors can be rude and changing prices from those displayed and changing size of cups. I went one night and got a medium drink for $5.50 but went another night and was told they don't do medium drinks and the small cup is $5.50. Another vendor had soft drinks advertised as $3 but charged me $4 and I was told they are our old prices, do you want a drink or not?
We went to the sand storytelling but couldn't see what was happening, there needed to be a mirror (like cooks use) above the artists.
Free transport is excellent but the lines were very long, especially to leave. It could have been organized better, for example there was over 200 people in the line waiting for the hotels/town circle bus and I witnessed a 70 seat bus arrive twice to take people to the 'town camp', one left empty and one with 5 people on board. Another 40 seat bus came twice for the car parks and left with only 10 people on. Finally a 40 seat bus arrived for the hotels/town circle and there was 100 people put on this bus, every bus was crowded. The empty buses could have taken a load of people to a hotel instead of leaving empty!!!!!!!.
I spent 2 hours enjoying the lights and shows and food but then another hour in the line to catch a bus home.
