About University Flying Club
University Flying Club (UFC) is a not for profit flying club based at Jandakot Airport, the closest GA Airport to Perth City, Western Australia. UFC has been operating since 1958 and is one of the oldest flying clubs in WA. The club currently operates a Van's RV-9A Aircraft a premium cross country touring aircraft with delightful handling characteristics and performance in a class of its own. No one else in the Perth metro area operates such an aircraft, and we believe it makes our club unique as the aircraft has the best range: cost ratio of any aircraft available in the region. Our club meets monthly and regularly holds social events and activities, so anyone interested in aviation can join in the fun.
