About The Gilded Horse
My name is Paul McCann and I am The Gilded Horse. My small workshop provides enough space for me to create a few simple objects. Drawing from my photography background I enjoy creating uncomplicated clean pieces that have lucid form and function. Inspired by the work of Swiss/French Architect ‘Le Corbusier’ I am primarily self taught with most of my creative skills developed in the 4 years I attended the Queensland College of Art. That experience helped facilitate and narrow down various mediums. Timber is certainly the most loved material I have worked with. All my timber is sourced from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) providing sustainably managed forests.
