The psychiatric department is horrendous. Care for family members of patients is 0, releasing patients into half way houses and not allowing them to leave generally is crazy I asked why? get no answers. Patients not given medication on release have to get it yourself from pharmacy. I had to ask for address of halfway house waited 20 minutes asked my concerns was ignored but it's ok for someone to get released acting violently leaving the hospital I mean where is the caredont bother going there
readability but understandably Freo Hosp has lost a lot of it's culture with the downsizing, I have spent many years traveling from the North - Western Suburbs because of the confidence and relationship I have had with it's staff.
Today it's a good hospital but not a great hospital - no reflection on today's staff just on the resourcing supporting them.
