Had made an appointment for 14th November at 4pm through healthengine. Received a text reminder for my appointment for 14th at 9.10am. Called the clinic to clarify and was told it was a system glitch and that the appointment reflected is at 4pm and not 9.10am. Received a letter from the clinic stating that I missed my appointment at 9.10 am and will be charged for future non attendance when I had attended my appointment at 4 pm has booked. It’s ridiculous that patients have to be charged for a glitch in the system and for staff negligence in not updating the system when I called to clarify immediately after receiving the text message. The counter staff need to be more proactive in handling appointments.

Had a terrible experience with Dr John at this practice. Booked an appointment for 8:30am. At 8:45 Dr John arrived, and she saw me at 8:50. I was there to get my regular medication prescribed. She said she didn't want to because she's not familiar with the medication or my condition. She asked where my condition came from and I informed her it is an autoimmune disease that I can't do anything about, except take the medication my specialist prescribed. She looked at my blood results. My iron was low, and I'm vegan so that wasn't a surprise. Her recommendation to treat my low iron was to change my diet, which was really disrespectful. She did write the script "just this time", but when I went to get it filled today, I found that she didn't check the PBS box. So the pharmacist was going to charge me $250 for my medication, which costs me $5 on PBS. I called the GP to get Dr John to fix this, and send the correct script to the pharmacy. I was informed by the receptionist that this would happen and that she would call me when it was done. I phoned back once to check, and to let them know how urgent it was. I have no more medication and I need it every morning. No one called me, so I called again when the practice was nearly closing, to find that Dr John had gone home. No script written. Atrocious service from this Doctor, refusing patients the medication they need to function because she hasn't learned about their conditions. I had to pay $250 for my medication. Thank God I had the money. Once Dr John sends the correct script to the pharmacy, I can get refunded the difference. IF Dr John does indeed do as she's supposed to, and ever send the correct script. Zero Stars.
