I went to the EBM Medical Practice to get Pfizer Booster shot today. I booked my appointment last night using the HotDoc website, and no charges were advised since I had Medicare.
I went to the clinic this morning and was advised there was a $37 out of pocket charge for the nurse administering the vaccine, although the vaccine is free.
Not happy with the way this whole thing was presented. If you are charging, clearly show on your website and advise when the patient reaches your clinic. I asked the lady at the desk to confirm this morning and then came to know. Otherwise, they would have asked for the charges after administering the vaccine.
FYI, most of the clinics in the country are not charging you anything for these vaccines; if you have medicare, they will bulk bill. Simply, these are free for everyone. It's also shown on govt website.
Thus, I won’t bother returning to this clinic.
I highly recommend Dr. Senthil. He is the best doctor. It's been two years now and I have never been disappointed by his medication. He is very compassionate and understanding. His treatment is very satisfying for me and my husband. I would say if anyone is looking for a best GP then, I would advise for Dr Senthil. Thanks.
