This Feedback is for future reference...Myself and my family have been attending this surgery for many years now. I saw my regular doctor (Dr menon) during the week. It already took a lot of courage for myself to make this appointment let alone opening up about a sensitive subject (mental health) . upon expressing my concerns with Dr Menon , i was met with complete dismissiveness walking away with no help or proper answers. i left the surgery in complete shock and despair feeling 100% worse off than when i went in. This is completely un acceptable and quiet frankly disgusting form. putting it bluntly this very well could have been the nail in someones coffin... The patients care and needs have drastically declined over these past few years at this practice. You have a duty of care as a doctor to listen and help your patients as best you can. To make them feel heard , comfortable and understood.. The front counter staff are not the most welcoming and could do with the occasional friendly smile.. I'm far from satisfied and for this reason will be changing along with my family to another medical practice. Not that you reply to your reviews which in itself is unprofessional and shows lack of concern or care, but hopefully you take this feedback on board for others .. And to better your poor star ratings also...
My 80 year old mother has been a patient for over 50 years and when her GP retired she saw a different doctor. He was rude, aggressive, impersonal and forceful. She wrote a letter to the dr and the practice manager stating she was upset and now seeking another practice after 50+ years....not even a phone call from the practice manager to ask what happened. Great way to treat any patient, let alone an elderly lady and a patient of over 50 years. Disgusted. Edit - It was NOT Dr LePoidevin - he is lovely.
