This clinic honestly doesn’t deserve its low rating, i booked an appointment on a Friday and was scheduled for 10.50am, filled some new patient paperwork when i arrived and saw the doctor by 11.10am. Appointment ended around 11.30 and i got my prescription filled at a conveniently located chemist just 2 minutes walk away by 12.10pm. Receptionists there were polite and helpful, and Dr John Foenander was very thorough and understanding. I was also bulk billed with Medicare and didn’t have to pay much for my first time visit. Thank you for the amazing professionalism and i would highly recommend this clinic to others.
I am generally an understanding person, sometimes places are unusually busy, or emergencies happen in health care. Being a long time client of the practise & having multiple health conditions it's not possible for me to see a different GP, it's become a nightmare to book an appointment. Can something be done to organise administration?
I generally wouldn't even complain about wait time to see the Dr themselves, but having to always wait for around 30 minutes on hold, have the phone just simply ring out, and having to try so many times that I end up having to go without my medication at times is having a negative effect on my life.
Is there please any way something can be done about the process of booking an appointment?
Today I tried to call before work for 15 minutes, during my break for 20minutes, then after work for 20minutes to finally be answered. Sometimes I have to give up and try the next day, or email the surgery asking someone to answer as the phone is just ringing out.
I'd be happy to pay an extra fee just to be able to book an appointment without stress.
