I am disgusted by the old man who I assume owns this place. His forceful way of dealing with a toddler under 3 years old who was distressed, screaming the place down, and did not want his haircut. Bringing another staff member, an older woman, to forcefully hold the child’s head - again against the child’s will - while he tried to go at the kid with clippers and scissors. The rest of the staff and customers smiling on. I’m sorry, that was trauma for that child. I was so angry! Even the child’s guardian was telling him to stop but it continued. This was not helping a child who was already traumatised by haircuts. This only added to the trauma. And furthermore, when someone says stop, you stop. You don’t force them against their will. As I said to the horrible man doing the haircut, what I witnessed was child abuse and he should be disgusted in himself. I guess he was more concerned about making money on another haircut than the long term impact of his behaviour on a small child. This was horrifying and I will tell everyone I can to avoid this business and I have made a formal complaint to centre management about the approach and behaviour of one of their retailers. I am disgusted.
