Lovely hike amongst the bush. It's about 7kms one way, but easy enough to do a return trip. We made the mistake of starting from the Serpentine falls, which means you have to pay 15aud and wait for the rangers to open the gates. If we'd do this again we'd park our car at the Jarrahdale cemetery and walk down to the Serpentine falls, have lunch there (since tables and toilets are provided on this end of the trail) and a little dip in the pool and walk back uphill to Jarrahdale. Lots of birds on the way. Can get quite muddy and slippery during winter months.
