Excellent walk. Suggest early morning as it was about 36 degrees when we went.
Take water, hat, sun tan lotion. Wear good covered shoes as these is spinifex (spiky plant) along the way and some steep area requiring a small climb. Not a big walk only about 2km odd return.
This is such a simple small walk that is slightly over 2km return but our favourite walk in the region. The track is not marked but easy to follow (it’s quite short so just follow the ridge basically and keep left when walking in) the views are so extraordinary and you can keep going to the end of the ridge for more views of the Ord River. If you keep going though it’s a bit more narrow with some rock scrambling and spinifex
