Broken Nose hike is quite rugged, alot of uphill hiking that sometimes never seems to end. Track can get quite narrow and be careful not to get lost as track sometimes can be covered with fallen branches, sticks, bleaves and it's difficult to know where to walk, signs/arrows are hard to spot and get few and far between near the end, often you will miss them after being years of weather eroded. BEWARNED, be absolutely sure to fill your water bottles up at the crossing of Broken Nose and Summit as there are absolutely NO other streams or cascades with running water after you leave this sign spot. It can get very rigorous, so watch your steps, especially when you start getting tired. Getting mobile signal is a dilemma also, there are times when your hiking you will NOT get any signal for over a 30 min trek, signal is often on and off, most times off, if your on your own tell someone where your going as not many people hike the Broken Nose trail, and you most likely won't see another passing soul because most everyone does the Summit. Near the end of the trail Broken Nose , getting to the top once your there is an issue, you need to climb between two boulders, once your done that your at the top . Enjoy ????
