About Historic Ormiston House
Historic Ormiston House was built by Captain Louis Hope between 1853 and 1865, and is the birthplace of Australia's commercial sugar industry. We are open from 12 noon to 4 pm on Sundays, and are completely staffed by volunteers. Don't forget to check out our busy calendar of events on our website.
