We have absolutely loved our stay and very sad to be leaving tomorrow - this is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed! Andy was a great host, very friendly and engaging, and clearly passionate about the local area, flora, fauna and accommodation.The chalets are fitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay - having a champagne in the spa at sunset was amazing! All the appliances are top notch (don't even get me started on all the features of the bed), and the extra snacks and supplies included in the fridge were a nice touch. The view from Chalet 3 was phenomenal and we could easily spend hours watching all the different birds and butterflies. Andy also took us on a tour to the waterfall where we had a refreshing swim (and saw turtles and perch), and then a great walk back through the extensive property. 5/5 - do yourself a favour and stay here when visiting the Daintree, you won't regret it!
Cassowary Falls is truly a 5 star accommodation! The chalet is well equipped from entertainment to cooking and the hot tub was great to use in the cool weather with a gorgeous view to gaze out upon. The views were fantastic and the environment was really relaxing accompanied by the sounds of the nature. Definitely do visit the waterfall which is way better than the one at daintree and go for a dip! The walk back from the falls had fantastic views too! The cooked breakfast was great especially the mushrooms
in the sauce! Thumbs up for the great hospitality Andy, Liz and Bear :)
