Overall stunning location - complete river frontage - throw the rods out while on your deck chair from your veranda. Then you're only a 500m walk to one of the best beaches on the Island! STUNNING!!! Emma our host was super helpful through the entire process of booking our stay with her, and recommendations for the rest of the island. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything, super comfy beds too! Just understand - IT IS VERY REMOTE! No wifi unless you go down to the jetty, no TV reception - so bring downloaded movies, download your spotify playlists etc etc..... while quiet time is good and what we wanted - it was more remote than what we thought. Buy magazines or newspapers prior to arriving in KI - they are not sold anywhere remotely (kingscote and penneshaw only). We loved our stay at Waters Edge - only a 30 minute drive to Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, Seal Bay (so so special) - and very much worth a drive around the West Coast to appreciate the devastation still apparent from the fires of 2019.
