My sister and I were booked in for the pub ride. Both of us experienced riders but out of the saddle for some time and we had 5 other beginner riders on our group. We were all put onto horses with no instructions what so ever. As the guides were getting their horses organised, 4 of the customers horses including mine shied at something, resulting in one lady falling heavily and hurting her back and hip. All attention went onto that lady and her horse was left running free in the arena. I went and caught the horse as he was trying to bite another customers horse who was getting very worried. Meanwhile my sisters horse was trying to kick and bite all the other horses and making her a bit nervous, so we swapped horses. I was eventually swapped off the nasty horse and put onto the horse that the lady had fallen from as she was not going to continue the ride. We set off - again with no instructions or rules. Crossing roads with beginner riders who did not know how to stop or turn their horses. My sister and I could not ride near each other due to the horses hating each other. One lady extremely nervous and constantly asking for help or advice - being growled at by the guide, they eventually swapped her onto another quieter horse. Horses shying at things along the ride (not beginner horses). Got to the pub and had lunch which was fine, but we were then rushed back onto the horses as we were running late due to all the problems. Horses again shied resulting in my sister falling off. The guides horse at the rear played up on the way back rearing and bucking stirring the other horses up, eventually throwing the guide and taking off across the road. The nervous lady hopped off her horse she was so worried. Once the runaway horse was caught the guides were ready to continue on without noticing one rider was off their horse, I had to call their attention to it. The nervous lady was then told to walk her horse on the way back with the guide that had been thrown. After a long walk up gravel tracks she was exhausted and wanted to get back on - again I had to call the guides attention to it and get the group to stop. When we arrived back at the grounds there were no apologies or sympathies - just focus on getting ready for the next group of riders that had arrived and we're waiting. I don't recommend them for either beginner or experienced riders.

Had a really great experience! The horses and the trail rides were beautiful suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders. Wendy was lovely and made us feel very welcome.
