Bridgeport Hotel (rated 4 stars on google maps)
Excellent service; friendly, wonderful staff; vibrant, delightful atmosphere. Kitchen clean, interesting and open. Staff excellent.
Some constructive advice I would offer is the addition of some lighter meals and seniors meals on the menu. More and extensive menu variety definitely required.
Battered fish needs to be cooked properly, too much half cooked batter on that one. Doughy towards the fish.
Chicken hamburgers need a little more imagination and flair not just 3/4 of a plate of chips, one awkward fillet of chicken (although nicely crumbed) and a burger consisting of the addition of just coleslaw and mayo at $26 a pop. No, sorry! That's a miss.
And serve a chocolate mint with your coffee for goodness sake, make it worth the drive to the Bridge! ????
However, I can see alot of potential; with a rework of the menu and price points, The Bridgeport could be a force to be reckoned with.
The Bridgeport, since being reinvented, is a must see!
