The venue is old and Unmaintained.
Upon arrival the lockbox didn’t work and we were unable to get into the property, we tried for 30 minutes.
We ended up walking around the back of the property and luckily there was a back door open.
We went inside and got settled (started making dinner) only to learn that there was no linen, tea towels or towels.
This must be organised days in advance.
We learnt this upon calling the owner and finding out what was going on.
We organise the booking last minute whilst driving to Margaret River, There was absolutely no mention prior to making the booking that this was the condition.
When we called the owner she was incredibly rude and I’m un-accommodating.
Replying to us by saying “I do not work the weekends” in which we said “this is an Airbnb in the last weekend of school holidays what do you mean you don’t work the weekends this is a business”
She offered to charge us $200 extra for linen which no one was able to deliver and she expected us to go collect it ourselves the following morning (the location was 45 mins away)
On top of all this, there was no extra toilet paper, there is no Wi-Fi, the knives in the cutlery drawer were blunt, the salt and pepper shakers were empty, there was no DVDs to play the the DVD player that was there.
There was no information package, no tour options to Margaret River, no coffee.
At $400+ a night .... a pure rip off.
The property is an amazing location and the view is incredible.
But it’s not worth the rudeness and lack of communication by the owner.
Just left a horrible taste in our mouth the entire trip.
We were unable to change locations due to it being the last weekend of school holidays and all properties being booked out in Margaret River.
