We had 2 meals at the Golden West Pub, The seafood basket was cooked perfectly and was delicious , A very generous meal 2 nd time The Rissoles we’re the biggest I’ve ever seen ,with pepper sauce they were amazing,my friend had the mushroom sauce, would highly advise to check out this lovely country pub ! Well done to the young chef , will be back for sure,
Such a beautiful hotel and caravan park in the outback between Blackall and Longreach..Anne and Ken...beautiful hosts...try this as an alternative route...the meals are great value and hard to beat for taste and fill you up!! Specials are offered with desert and they are delicious..$13 bucks..we had one reefnbeef and the steak Dianne was the special...you couldn't tell which was the special ...lunch specials are $11.50 everyday ...the rissoles are hard to beat!
