The arch of the old hotel still stands. Old kerosine tins, broken bottles and bits of crockery are everywhere. Must have been a bustling town once. There is a rock edged garden and path of a once loved home. It's strange to think there were people living out here in the middle of nowhere. There are a few roomy camp spots with no water or amenities. The Emu Fence Road was nice and wide and we had no problems bringing our van. The sign at the beginning of the road made us question whether we should continue but the road looked so good, we thought what the heck. It was worth the worry - not often do you get to sleep in a deserted town!
