Large spacios well equipt clean room. Musky smell and slightly dated though.. No one at reception so you are left to work things out yourself. No facilities or services. I did ask a cleaner to clean off the animal poo off table near pool and she kindly walked over with a cloth and handed it to me to wipe myself. Lol.I guess im not useless but ......is not at the mantra standard in compassion to other accomadations. The noisy birds at night are so very loud right at window. Pool has no shade during the day
Very central to Port Douglas with large and spacious rooms that have dated. The pool area only gets a small amount of shade in the late afternoon. You would have more luck finding “Where’s Wally” than a staff member on-site. The reception was closed when we arrived and had to ring to get the code to the safe to get our keys for the room and after that we had to figure out the rest on our own.
The positive side of booking a Mantra hotel is that we are able to use the facility’s at the other Mantra hotels including Pepper’s.
It has paid to book the cheaper Mantra Hotel and be able to use the best Mantra Hotels facility in the area.
