I stayed here for 17 days for work.. everyone of them was a struggle. The moment I walked in the floors, curtains and surfaces were dirty. Strange stains and all... the Bathroom and kitchen was infested with ants constantly, even after spraying them they always came through cracks in the walls..
Other times I had geckos, mozzies or midges inside.. basically felt like living in a zoo.
I had no sponge or dishwashing detergent to clean my dishes despite being asked to via a sign on the wall..
The aircon stopped after 8 hours everytime and would not go below 23c which left me me hot and sweaty. Cooking facilities were far away and my hot water was absent for at least 3 days..
This place could be nice if the cabins were cleaned more thoroughly and maintained, and the bugs actually dealt with properly. However with the length of time I stayed here I can not recommend this accommodation at all... the icing on the disappointment cake though is the fact you are right next to the airport and raaf base, meaning the planes fly over your head by about 100 meters.. goodluck sleeping! Also some cabins within my team including mine had exposed wiring in lights and fans which is incredibly dangerous. So uhhh good luck I guess if you stay here!
The only thing that save this place was lovely staff apart from that very deceiving and poor facilities not what the place looked like on the internet , there was no breakfast or restaurant as advertised , very hard for someone who was in Darwin thinking that there was a restaurant and we didn't need supplies , room was not what we booked charged wrong price then had to wait for a refund lucky we enjoyed our weekend as arriving here made me want to cry when i saw it
