We took our children and 4 young grandchildren there for dinner after a day at the Age of Dinosaurs after chatting to the owners daughter. Bad decision. We ordered at 7.15 and got dinner 2 full hours later. The hotel was not full by any means and no one said when we ordered we would have to wait for 2 hours. We were the only people still at this hotel when the food arrived spread out over 15 minutes. The children were beside themselves with hunger and tiredness and by 9.15 ate almost nothing. One 5 year old was asleep, one 4 year old ate nothing, the two 6 year olds very little. When the meals came our the deliverer spoke little English so could not say who which was rump or rib fillet and what sauce it had with it. We sorted that out between ourselves. The steak was good and well cooked. The chicken parmigiana was burnt. A lump of plastic was found in one mashed potato serve. It was overall a very bad experience. I did speak politely to the owner who said "I know. I'm sorry". We certainly will never return and will warn others about it. This is the first negative feedback I have ever posted but it was hard to find a positive in our experience.
