About Mrs. Colin Campbell Memorial Legacy Homes
The Mrs Colin Campbell Memorial Legacy Homes were built by Legacy Club of Inverell Inc using money bequested to the club by Mrs Ida VA Campbell & a small government grant. At the time there was a need for affordable housing for Legacy beneficiaries who were mostly the widows of veterans. The first residents moved in on 29/03/1971. Since then the demand for housing for Legacy beneficiaries has declined & the units are now available to members of the general public. There are eleven rental units which are updated regularly.
