Excellent care provided by Dr Gupta, she removed Pterygium's from both my eyes - my eyesight is so much better and now I don't have to worry about the growths potentially impacting my vision permanently.

Dr Gupta also detected another issue whilst I was having my procedure. She proactively did a biopsy which detected skin cancer. An urgent referral to another eye specialist who specialises in cancer and tumours and six weeks later I am cancer free. I was so lucky that Dr Gupta detected this as had it been left much longer it could have been a far different result.

I strongly recommend seeing Dr Gupta for your eye issues.

I had the Smile laser eye surgery by Dr Aanchal Gupta just a few weeks ago, and only a few days before Christmas Day 2022.

It is fair to say that i was probably one of the more skeptical of patients, asking lots of questions and also bordering on paranoid about how things might go wrong.

It is now the second week of January 2023.

Within a few days of the surgery my vision was excellent!

I have only needed to use the eye drops as recommended (every couple of hours for a month or so), which has been of minimal inconvenience to me.

Moving forward and within about a week, i won't even need to use the eye drops anymore.

This surgery is remarkable, highly sophisticated and had i known how easy it was going to be, i would have had the procedure/surgery a lot sooner.

From my point of view the cost of the surgery needed to be weighed up against the ongoing costs of buying glasses (ongoing).

I am hopeful that i will not need to buy glasses at all again into the future (save for the cheaper version reading glasses) and that my eyesight is now corrected for life which is incredible given i have needed to wear glasses for the past 25 years since i was about 15 years old and purchased 3-4 pairs in that timeframe.

The procedure was relatively painless, with only slight discomfort and it was all over very quickly.

I am grateful that i now have the freedom to go about my daily activities without needing to concern myself with either wearing glasses, or them coming off, being damaged, or needing to select a new pair etc.
