About Rayleigh Poll Hereford Stud
Established in 1957 by the Holcombe family and is currently managed by Jeff, Robyn and Anna. Rayleigh has always aimed to breed functional and efficient cattle, noted for their ability to fatten on pasture and carry themselves through tough times. Structural soundness, doing ability and natural muscling are at the forefront of our program to ensure this vision is met.
In 2020, Rayleigh moved our stud breeding operations to 'Kombali', Narrabri. All females are now calved down at Kombali, with calves returning to 'Rayleigh', Burren Junction at weaning time to be grown out.
Both Bulls and Females are available for your purchase at our annually sale, held in July. All bulls are well adapted, low fuss and ready to work.
