We have been staying at the shearer’s quarters at Angorichina Homestead twice a year for the last 10 years and can honestly say it is one of the best holidays you can have with the family. The hosts are awesome and the accomodation second to none.
Choices of accomodation include Little Paddock, Shearer’s Quarters and camping. Campfires, stary nights and hot showers (even for the campers) …an awesome way to enjoy the Flinders Ranges.
A bunch of us stayed in the Shearer's Quarters for a good friend's 60th birthday celebration. Simply wonderful set-up. Very rustic and real deal. Ian is a great host and was attentive and helpful with his advice and tips for things to do. Get to the top of the nearby hill for magical sunset views (Ian will provide directions; easy drive but 4wd with clearance and low range required). Quality of fire wood provided is A1, and even the ground was raked in neat zen like patterns on our arrival. ????????????????????
