This is convenient to work so I decided to give it a go on a cold, rainy say when I needed some comfort food. The serves were all generous and tasted great. Great broth on the ramen, the pork katsu curry was delicious and the spicy chicken noodles were just the right amount of spicy. Quick service and great pricing.

I ordered a Pork Katsu Curry. The Katsu Pork was fine but in reality it was little more than a deep fried pork snitty, not a proper katsu. The curry was inoffensive, mild in heat but very plain in flavour, akin to something I could throw together at home using Keens curry powder. On the plus side the serving was large and the rice was excellent.
Will try it Umi again soon. Maybe I'll try a chicken and pineapple fried rice and reassess my review then but for now it's a polite no thank you.
