About St Peter's Lutheran Church
Saint Peter's Lutheran Church Hobart is a Lutheran Church belonging to the LCA which worships every Sunday at 10.00 AM. Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, or SPLC, is currently ministered by Pastor Michael Steicke who was installed in 2016. SPLC was established in 1949 and has since started operating a Lutheran School which is at the current location in Warrane. Eastside Lutheran College now has over 200 students and operates from foundation through to grade 10. The college was opened in 1982 on the site of an old drive in theatre. The Saint Peter's Centre now sits between the Meehan Ranges, Derwent River and Mount Wellington.
