Hi, Im Michael Treacy. I love participating in the marriage ceremonies of couples who have decided to tie the knot. I would consider it a privilege to participate in your ceremony and am ready to create with you the type of ceremony that is inspirational and uplifting. Being a mature-age Aussie celebrant, I have been around a while and have traveled the world and lived in many cultures and have learned to respect the many and varied traditions in Eastern, Western and Pacific Island cultures. I also love this sunburnt country and its people it is one of the best places on earth! I was born in Melbourne and have boomeranged back here to establish Aussie Marriages as a truly high class, dignified service with our unique culture, humour and traditions. Since 2001, I have been a Registered Marriage Celebrant and have celebrated marriages in churches, chapels, homes, clubs and gardens. Although I mainly do legal marriage ceremonies, my biggest emcee event was for 3000 at the Palais. I am also a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC). My style is to meet and discuss to discover exactly what you want for your ceremony, without obligation.
